Biographical Me!

Hi there! Welcome to my new blog. My name is Jesse Hoffman and I am soon to 18, on Thursday. I work at a restaurant as a waitress and enjoy my job immensely. I live at home with my parents, two cats, and a dog. Spending time with my family is very important to me.

I decided to take this class to better my writing skills and learn new writing techniques. I am taking this class through PSEO program and am looking forward to the online aspect. This class will also be used to help with my Nursing degree.

  1. Happy birthday, Jesse! Good luck pursuing your nursing degree. My sister earned her degree from ARCC, and has worked as an emergency room nurse at Mercy for some years. She's never regretted her education.

  2. Thank you for the birthday wishes and encouragement! Is your sister a RN? I would love to do emergency room, but am looking more into Pediatrics.

Where is 'home' for you? It amazes me how many people aren't from cambridge but are in this class.

  7. Jess - Yep, my sister is an RN. She started out as an LPN, but when the hospital pushed more of their nurses to be RNs, she went back to earn her 4-year degree. She loves her job. Pediatrics would be a fun area to work. My sister enjoys the adrenaline rush that comes with working in the ER. However, what keeps her there are the people she works with.
